What’s up dude man? My name is Carter Gayeski, also known as ThatboiCarter, Krypto or Kryptonite. I am an indie rapper from New Jersey whose music focuses on self expression, introspection, and braggadocios confidence. I’ve been working in my home studio (a closet in my garage) steadily since 2021 to produce quality beats and lyrics for my small, yet dedicated fan base. Since the year 2022, Cannon Kyle and I have been a hip-hop duo that goes by the name of Intermedia and in April 2025, we released Whatever our first full length album as a group. My creativity works best when I have multiple projects in the pipeline.

My music is a window into my rich inner world and my passion bleeds through each lyric in each song. Hip hop has shaped my worldview and taught me to prioritize learning about the experiences of other people.

On a personal note, when I’m not working on music, I usually find solace in creating YouTube videos, reading magazines and books, or indulging in my vintage movie collection, including Alfred Hitchcock thrillers, the Twilight Zone, and Universal Monster classics.
